I am a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. I want to help you succeed in meeting your health goals, whether they are weight loss, improved blood glucose, blood pressure or blood cholesterol control, or feeling more confident about your general nutrition.

Merle provides comprehensive nutrition and diabetes education services for individuals, couples, and families.
I am committed to disease prevention and management through reduction of risk factors, which I achieve with the implementation of effective behavioral health strategies. I specialize in the following types of intervention:

- Diabetes (including Type 1, Type 2, LADA, Gestational)

- Management of heart disease, kidney disease, digestive & inflammatory disease
I understand how challenging it is to care for yourself when you have diabetes: monitoring BG, preparing healthy meals, making time and effort to stay active and feel energetic, keeping up with all the physician appointments and lab tests.
